Bryan Partridge is one of our most experienced school climate consultant and has worked with the CSCL since 2004. Bryan's background as a lifelong summer camp counselor and his vast assortment of team building and cooperative games have helped make our student and adult leadership trainings fun, highly interactive and effective. 

 

Bryan is an Associate Professor of Writing at New England College. He received his BA from The College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, his MA in Creative Writing from Dartmouth College, and his PhD in the Humanities from Union University.

 

Bryan also serves as the Director at Camp Lanakila, an educational organization focused on fostering personal growth, self-reliance, self-confidence, cooperation and a sense of community.

Bryan has help us establish our new Respectful Schools Partnership with the Aloha Found ation and Hulbert Outdoor Center and reunited us with Katie Knowles, Director of Program Development at the Hulbert outdoor Center to expand the programming and outreach services of both organizations.

 

 


Gail Poitrast is responsible for the statistical analysis of the data gathered from our various projects.  She earned her BS at Westfield State University in Westfield, MA, her M.Ed. in Mathematics Instruction from Plymouth State University, in Plymouth, NH, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at New England College in Henniker, NH. 

 

Gail also serves as Lead Mathematics Faculty and Fellow at Granite State College and is an adjunct faculty member at New England College.  Gail teaches a variety of mathematics and mathematics edu

AnnaLi Preble

AnnaLi has been doing school visitations and consulting work with her dad, Bill, since she was 4 years old. AnnaLi and Bill used to work with students to help them understand adoption. She has been working with Student Leadership teams since high school on team building and leadership games throughout her college experience at Colby Sawyer College.

 

She has traveled to schools with other CSCL consultants leading student teams through data analysis, goal setting, and action planning. AnnaLi graduated May 2018 with a degree in Sociology and is a Certified Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist. She currently enjoys working with young children on the Autism Spectrum.

Keith Witty  

 

Keith is a professional, world-traveling, jazz bassist, producer and music educator. He lives in New York City with his wife and young family. Keith has worked as a consultant and school climate leader with the CSCL for over a decide, working with student and adult leadership groups, providing exciting team building and group games and activities and is a strong advocate for "finding the sweet spot."  This is when a school or leadership team focuses on their school climate improvement goal, but finds a very simple activity or project that cuts right to the heart of the issue and often requires a minimal amount of time or effort. Simple and in the sweet spot can be more sometimes!

 

The Respectful Schools Alliance: CSCL & Hulbert Outdoor Center, Aloha Foundation  -- School Climate Partnership

The Center for School Climate and Learning has entered into a partnership with the Hulbert Outdoor Center to offer our School Climate Leadership training and services to schools across New England. The Hulbert Center is located in Fairlee, VT and has a history of providing the highest quality experiential leadership, success leadership and outdoor and adventure-based education programs.  The Hulbert Center staff is highly skilled, highly trained in working with both young people and adults. CSCL founder Bill Preble and Senior Consultant Bryan Partridge have trained several Hulbert Center Lead Instructors to work as School Climate facilitators with client schools so we can expand our services to schools throughout New England and beyond.  Welcome to our School Climate Leadership team Ross and Nick!

 

Ross Cannon is a lead instructor at the Hulbert Outdoor Center. He is a skilled group leader, has expertise in Success Leadership, Waterfront activities, boating, and Wilderness Emergency Medicine, and has been working with 9 CSCL client schools for the past year in CT and NH.

 

Nick Wood is a Program Coordinator Hulbert Outdoor Center is a lead instructor at the Hulbert Outdoor Center. He is a skilled group leader, has expertise in Success Leadership, Team Dynamics and Adventure-Based Learning and has been working with 7 CSCL client schools for the past year in CT and NH.
